My Prints for Sale

Some of my prints would make a great Christmas present, wedding gift or anniversary gift

For several years people have been asking if I sell prints. Well now I can say yes I do. For years I have taken photos all around the province of Nova Scotia and when I'm away on vacation. I get such great pleasure in capturing and early morning sunrise or that perfect sunset. But there is so much more to see in our beautiful province, and sharing what I see is what I enjoy most.

This picture was taken on Brule Penninsula on the North Shore of Nova Scotia. I was out watching my family playing catch and happened to glance over and see this. Thank Heavens my camera is often handy.

While vacationing at the Quarterdeck with some friends of ours, I happened to look out and see the amazing sunset reflecting on the beach there. Now if you haven't been to Summerville beach in Nova Scotia, you truly are missing a very spectacular beach. Of course having the opportunity to stay at the Quarterdeck is an amazing, serene experience. The cottages there are fully equipped and they all face the magnificent beach. It's the perfect getaway when you are stressed to the max as I often am during the fall.

It seems that many of my pictures have been taken when I have been away from my home in Hants Border, Nova Scotia, away from my daily workload and while I have been able to relax and see what is around me. Oh how I love these times. Often times I do take my computer with me and try and catch up on editing while I'm away but more often I only work on what I call my fun pictures.

When I'm home, I often wake long before the sun comes up. Often times it's due to the fact that I have too much on my mind. Quite often I watch the sun come up and sometimes I gasp at it's beauty. This is the view I see from the back deck of my home. I overlook the beautiful little community of Hantsport. It used to have town status but recently, it lost that status. The large building along the shoreline was employment to many in the area. Unfortunately it had to close it's doors.

Once in awhile I tour around the back roads, stopping when I see something of interest, and I can't wait to get home and see what I have captured. When I found this sheep, I was doing just that. Sometimes when I have to go further down the valley, I travel through the Gaspereau Valley. It takes me longer to arrive at my destination, but the journey and the pictures are so worth it. This little guy was found on one of these trips. He has been a favourite for me for several years now. I sent the image to have printed at Atlantic Photo in HRM and they phoned and asked me if they could enter it in a contest for me. They also said it was their "photo of the day". Of course I said yes to the contest and in the end I won a DJI drone. (Stay tuned for flight videos later this year).

One of the things I loved most about this province I call home, each season offers such beauty. I love to capture the beauty.
